Hello, friends. Thanks for stopping by. I have created this site to express some the many thoughts that go through my head on a daily basis. Prior to now, I haven’t really had an avenue to get these thoughts down – so I am looking forward to finally having a platform with which to do so.
To kick things off, I’ve decided to make my first post a little introduction about myself, and what I intend to use this site for.
To start, my name is John, I am 32, married, and living in a very small town in Central Pennsylvania. I am a designer by trade, specializing in marketing and web design, with a good bit of web development and programming thrown in there as well. In addition to that, I teach Tang Soo Do at D.J. Studios Karate, where I am a 4th degree master, and a member of the International Tang Soo Do Federation. Beyond that, I have a million and one different hobbies and interests – all of which I am sure I will be writing about on here sooner or later.
I am married to a beautiful girl named Shawna, and while we have no children, we do have a super fluffy Pomeranian named Nugget who we consider to be every bit as good as a child. We are an unabashedly Christian family, with traditional values.
In life, I have a million and one different hobbies that I’ve taken interest in over the years including (but not limited to) drawing, origami, wood turning, collecting pez dispensers, martial arts, breakdancing, skateboarding, guitar, building things, wood working, lego building, magic, reading, jewelry making, graphic design, web design, computer programming, writing, and architecture. Over the years, I’ve written thoughts down on most of these subjects – but it got to be too exhausting trying to maintain 50 different blog sites, dedicated to each area of interest. So – for the sake of brevity (and my own sanity), I created THIS blog, which will basically be a collection of thoughts on ALL of my interests. In addition to all of these interests, I have a deep passion for teaching others. I love instructing, and passing my knowledge to other people. As such, I plan on releasing a variety of articles/tutorials on how to do … well… a lot of things.
So that’s what to expect. Hopefully your interest is peaked! Thanks for reading!
